So the Mortar Burns (2023) is a contemporary classical piece written for the Stevens Institute of Technology Concert Band. At over ten minutes, it is the largest classical composition I have realized, and explores anger, violence, and perseverance through aggressive tonality and contrasting timbres.

I composed the piece, formatted the full and part scores, printed them, and worked closely with the concert band during rehearsals.
